A Community Defibrillator Awareness Seminar was held at Waldringfield Village Hall on 22nd January which was well attended. It was hosted by The Community Heartbeat Trust who provided the defibrillator last October and proved to be very informative. Useful posters and leaflets were distributed telling people what to do in the case of suspected Sudden Cardiac Arrest.
Further details should be available soon concerning other First Aid courses available together with more information regarding the possible establishment of a VETS (Village Emergency Telephone Scheme) in the village. Further updates should be available shortly.
