Winter Talks in Waldringfield Village Hall
THE WORK OF THE COASTGUARD

Barry Twomey, Station Officer, together with a colleague from the Felixstowe Search and Rescue Team will talk about the role of the coastguard. Through the eyes of a new recruit, they will be discussing the history of the coastguard, the current structure of teams, and the training they receive. The Station Officer will then give examples of ‘shouts’ to which the team have been called out.
